In the third quarter of 2025, the Android shoot'em up gaming category in Nigeria showcased varied performance trends, as highlighted by Sensor Tower data.

Killer Bean Unleashed from Killer Bean Studios saw a gradual rise in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads peaked at approximately 22.3K in early September, while active users steadily increased, reaching about 246K by the end of the quarter. The game also experienced a consistent weekly revenue trend, peaking at around $146 in late August.

Space shooter - Galaxy attack by 1SOFT observed fluctuations in downloads, with a notable increase to 5.8K in early September. Revenue trends varied, with a high of $418 at the start of the quarter, dipping and then recovering to $106 by the end of September. Active users showed a decline from 39.2K to around 31.9K.

Galaxy Attack: Shooting Game, also from 1SOFT, maintained a stable performance in active users, peaking at 35.2K in late August. Downloads increased towards the quarter's end, reaching 2.7K in mid-September. Revenue saw a high of $222 in mid-August before settling at $91 by the end of September.
